The world is littered with digital organisms that move in and out of existence in the blink of an eye. Mind Altar Records are purveyors of the tangible; creating artifacts that reconnect mankind with the full visceral experience of music; the way it was always intended. There is a powerful synergy that flows between music and the art that houses it, acting as one symbiotic unit. Striving to look as good as they sound, by carefully aligning the artwork with the music that inspires it. With a mission to unearth and elevate the talent that lives among us to a higher tier.

Discovering new music takes on a spiritual approach that starts in the mind. At its core, music is something that can only be experienced, not held. A vinyl record needs to meet the music halfway and represent the visual and physical side of whatever it may possess. Each record tells a different complex story, while taking on the same shape and form as the others, trying to stand out. Our aim was to create an brand that felt established, yet esoteric in nature; creating enough intrigue that makes someone want to pick up this record over the rest and dive a little deeper. The name brings you to a mystical place that free of time and space, a place you go to when you are immersed in the label's blend of psychedelic music roots.
